LHE™ Treatment Procedure

The length of a full LHE™ Skin Rejuvenation treatment will depend on the size of the area to be treated.

The number of treatments nessessary depends on the skin condition, on the degree of the photodamage as well as on the individual response to the treatment. For pigmented lesions such as age/ sun spots and for spider veins 3 sessions are usually recommended. For the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles an average of 6 sessions are recommended to achieve optimal results.

An interval of 3-4 weeks is recommended between visits for all LHE™ Skin Rejuvenation treatments.

How does LHE™ reduce the signs of photodamage?

LHE™ photorejuvenation selectively targets abnormal changes that develop with age. Photorejuvenation results in the formation of new collagen in the dermis and the elimination of spots and lesions, giving the skin a smoother texture and a younger look. The results are gradual and cumulative.

How many treatments are required?

Although the improvement may become apparent after the first treatments typically several sessions are required for the optimal result. The average treatment takes about one hour for the full face.

What are the causes of hyper-pigmentation (increase in skin pigmentation)?

Hyper-pigmentation may either be due to increased melanin deposition in the epidermis or dermis. Epidermal pigmentary disorders respond well to treatment while dermal (deeper) pigmentation may take longer.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are rare. Redness may appear after each treatment, which usually disappears after a short while.
