Microdermabrasion Post Treatment AdviceFollowing treatment, the skin is sensitive to sun exposure. As a result, a sunblock is also applied to protect the skin. The treated area will be smoother, the complexion more even-toned. You may return to work immediately afterwards. Do not exfoliate the treated area a few days following the procedure, do not use acid-based home care products or facial scrub, avoid irritating products, such as products with hydroquinone, retinol, alcohol. As excessive perspiration may irritate the treated area, we recommend to avoid heavy excersizes immediately after the treatment. Use a good non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic sunblock with appropriate SPF and wear protective clothing. Be gentle when cleansing. Microdermabrasion FacialAt Lege Artis we employ advanced European microdermabrasion equipment by Reviderm™ (Germany). The procedure includes a complete facial with enzyme peeling and a herbal face wrap. For better results series of 5-8 treatments are recommended (one session per week). Body microdermabrasion treatments are also available. Enzyme peeling softens and deep cleanses the skin, which incresaes the depth and intensity of microdermabrasion and gives significantly better results while minimizing irritation to the skin. It is followed by full three phases of machine peeling. Extractions of milia, blackheads/whiteheads are performed if necessary. Therapeutic serum and hydrating mask are applied to soothe, nourish and regenerate your skin. Finally antioxidant and vitamin-laden moisurizer with a sunscreen is applied to protect the skin from the elements. Microdermabrasion
is a preferred progressive skin care service alternative to chemical
