Our Combination Method
Everybody is different - there are differences in health, genetics, metabolism, stress, skin type, colour, gender, etc. That is why there is no such thing as one perfect treatment that cures it all and works the same for everyone. Our Extractions
Extreactions allow us to address blackheads, whiteheads (comedones) as well as some oil cysts - common problems associated with oily and acne-prone skin. Extraction procedure plays a very important role in acne-prone skin treatments. It is an integral part of Lege Artis® Acne Toronto Clinic Signature Deep Cleansing Facial and Derm-Renewal Facial.

Acne and Hyper-Pigmentation in Dark Skin Types
Acne in dark skin clients present a number of challenges. Dark skin is usually prone to developing dark marks (hyper-pigmentation) after irritation or trauma and in the areas with clogged pores (comedones), that can be seen as darker "bumps" on the skin. Dark skin also absorbs more energy from Lasers, IPL and blue light therapy devices, thus making them less safe and/or less useful.

Acne and Skin Redness
Lighter skin types are usually prone to excessive redness and can benefit from using our V-beam Laser Therapy and BBL Acne Treatment as well as Signature Deep Cleansing Facials with Omnilux Light Therapy.
A combination of Lege Artis Signature Deep Cleansing Facials with a series of IPL Acne Treatment sessions, followed by V-beam laser sessions on the cheeks area. No other modalities had been used by the client except Lege Artis Home Care Products (B3B5 Gentle Mousse, Aspen Bark Concentrate and Soja Hx). Photos: before and 4.5 months after.
IPL Acne Treatment proved to be the only effective choice for a client, who had no results from other methods, including oral antibiotics.
