What IS Lege Artis™?
Lege Artis TechnologyWhen we select technology to be offered to our clients our first question is: "Does it work?". And the second question is always "How can you prove it?". As the result we offer technologies which have extensive peer-reviewed third-party research to prove their effectiveness as well as FDA clearances. For Hair Removal we are using LighSheer™ laser, which is often reffered to as the gold standard for this procedure (see LightSheer™ research page by Lumenis Inc).The new addition to our practice, Vbeam™ laser system considered world-wide as the gold standard for the treatment of a wide variety of vascular skin conditions. It is gentle enough for use on infants as young as a few weeks old, yet powerful enough to treat adult skin problems. Lege Artis Skin Care Clinic is proud to sponsor one of our clients, Ms. Polina Lukashova for Miss Universe Canada Pageant. Polina was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to Canada in 2003. She is currently enrolled in the University of Toronto St. George Campus doing her last year in Economics and Finance Major, French as a Second Language Minor and a Russian Literature Minor. Polina is a very dynamic and inspired person. She is engaged in many activities and projects. Currently, she has a part-time job at the Canadian financial institution and many extracurricular activities outside of school. In the past years Polina has had runway and dance training. The most recent pageant she has won was the University of Toronto Next Top Model. Polina is now a part of a prestigious modeling agency. This year Polina has decided to challenge herself and participate in the Miss Universe Canada Pageant. Polina's life goals include having a complete family full of love and warmth, owning her own health/wellness business and sharing her happiness and prosperity with others in need. Dec 2, 2009. Update: Polina had been included in Top 12 to of the contestants to continue competing for the title of Miss Universe Canada. Stay tuned!

Lege Artis - a Latin expression meaning By the Law of Art or, better, State of the Art.
Our special programs are being developed by Irina V. Revo, a European Dermatologist. Irina graduated from Moscow Medical University, Russia in 1990 (MD Russia, Diploma in General Medicine (1990), postgraduate specialization in Dermatology (1992). Additional studies and certifications in laser treatments, LHE™, IPL and Omnilux™ Light Therapy, alternative medicine, aesthetics. Established Lege Artis in 1996.
Ilia A. Belyi graduated from Moscow Medical University, Russia in 1992. Postgraduate specialization in Neurology and Traditional Medicine, 1995. Graduated from Homeopathic College of Canada in 1998, DHMS diploma. Additional courses in laser treatments, LHE™, IPL and Light Therapy. Since 2000 works at Lege Artis Skin Care Clinic.
